1. Le Fleur Retail Website | UX and Responsive Web Design

[ Role: UX Researcher, Brand Designer, UX/UI Designer ]
Overview:
Le Fleur is a responsive retail website for a floral boutique in San Francisco, primarily serving working business professionals in the area. Le Fleur’s website responsiveness is critical, as their key demographic tends to access their website via their phones.
Designing with a mobile-first approach ensures that the user experience is both optimized for mobile and consistent across devices.

2. Fairfield, California Parks and Recreation Services App | Dedicated Mobile App UX/UI Design

[ Role: UX Researcher, Information Architect, UX Designer ]
Overview:
The Fairfield Parks & Recreation app is a dedicated mobile app for the City of Fairfield, California, Parks and Recreation Department, designed to make searching for specific park information more intuitive and enjoyable. The goal was to decrease user pain points while increasing park patronage.
This app makes browsing the local parks system easy and informative. Find parks that meet your specific needs, reserve space at the community center for an event, or manage your children’s sports program paperwork directly from one place.
Personal Frustration
My motivation for this project was my personal frustration with this site’s responsiveness. Though most of it adjusts well, there are some less responsive elements, such as the card links on the homepage that line up to create a long column of cards.
I also would’ve liked to see more comprehensive information about each park. Locating park information was cumbersome. When I was finally able to find a list of parks, there was a limited amount of information and no pictures; to find images, one would have to Google search each park one by one.
